Desire (Literally means “of the father”)

Desire (Literally means “of the father”)

Spring cracks the ice of the lake
Bellowing wounds from the deep
Deeper still are things I can’t reach
Let water have it’s way to heal
Our histories steeped, was one time cool
But the flow kept growing the green

Of spirit, mine was free
Reflecting, how I came to be
Now I see that all your no’s meant
Please don’t go

The fire has roasted things sweet
Embers pulse into our memories
Of a life, So long loved
Blisters endearingly healed
the hearth is warm
We feel the glow, and so grateful

Of passion, my desires
Inspired by the dance in you
Fuels a heat that dreams in bed…
Please don’t go

Out in the timeless sky
The surging borealis
The stars are bright and kind
The smile is in your eyes
We breathe deep
Blow away all things trite and cheep

Of mind, you taught me
How thoughts can change whats real
All these woven strands have feeling…
Please don’t go
Please don’t go away

The snow has covered the firs
The purr of warmth in the roots
The weight begs the boughs to yeild
Awake, you count the sheep
Close your eye’s, try to sleep
We know the colours from your field

Of body, I wear the weight
Of gravity and all you gave
The power in my heartbeat knows
When you go, you will never go away
never go away
When you go, you will never go away. . .
