Zurich
The tower clock in Zurich shows 9 AM
I’m walking through Altstadt
Grossmünster at my back
I’m strolling through the Kunsthaus
With oils from time long gone – insanity in oil
and down the street the trains are running
I’m heading north to Bonn
The train crossing the Rhine
Nothing here is mine – except the wine which is fine
in the town there’s a statue
Her beauty is torpid and refined
now I’m lost in this evil festival
Got to get Back to Zurich by night
Now those aren’t stars on the Limmat boy
cause your head is in the clouds
and though you’re all alone
You’re not lonely
The Tower clock in Zurich shows 12 AM
Champagne with Russian Nikita
I can call her any name
she is like the statue
Her marble’s in a game
Now I’ve asked my 20 questions
she likes to turn and walk away
Now, those are stars on the Limmat boy
cause the clouds have cleared your head
and though you’re all alone
You’re not lonely
On the hill looking down
on Zurich town
The tower above Zurich shows 9 AM
The tower above Zurich
The tower above Zurich
The tower above Zurich
